Public dove fields
The SCDNR and NCWRC maintain numerous dove fields open to the public throughout the Carolinas. With dove season opening this month, it’s a great time to try one of these fields, which are intensively managed to attract doves.
For the location, hours, and regulations on public dove fields in South Carolina, visit eregulations.com/southcarolina/hunting/wma-public-dove-fields. For the same information in North Carolina, visit ncpaws.org/ncwrcmaps/gamelands#, then search for dove under the species category.
