Lake Jocassee clean-up slated for July 30

Hundreds of volunteers will gather at Lake Jocassee on July 30 to remove trash and debris in a collaborative effort that’s quickly showing how much local residents and recreation enthusiasts value the lake.

This clean-up event is the largest of its kind for Lake Jocassee.

Volunteers will disperse at 9 a.m. in teams to 11 land locations and nine scuba-dive locations to remove debris and beautify the lake. […]
