I shot this big bobcat (my biggest ever) in Wayne County, NC I believe the cat smelled the doe estrous I had out because it literally came down the drag rag I had used and sat right near me, right at the last legal light to shoot a deer during the 2023 season. I didn’t think the cat was this big until I got down.
I have shot a few cats, with most weighing 12 to 15 pounds…this guy was close to 27 pounds. That’s big for my area in Wayne County, NC. He will be mounted with a gorgeous fox squirrel I took later this season. Here he is also.
