Prune your way to a quiet path through the woods

A small pair of pruning shears can eliminate obstacles in the path of a still-hunter.

One of the most-useful tools ever for hunters is a small set of hand pruners. They can quickly and effectively remove limbs, briars and vines up to 2 inches in diameter. Ratchet pruners seems to be best and are quiet and very effective.

Often when still-hunting, a hunter finds himself with a choice of plowing through a few briars or creating an alternative route around them. With pruners in hand, a snip here and a snip there can remove obstacles and create a clear travel path.
