Jig is up for grouper

Blue Water Candy’s Roscoe Jig is a deadly lure for bottomfish like grouper.

The Roscoe Jig, manufactured by Blue Water Candy Lures, is becoming very popular for catching botttom fish, including grouper.

Using a jig rather than natural bait increases the amount of time an angler actually spends fishing on offshore ledges, artificial reefs and wrecks, it eliminates the need to catch or buy bait, and it eliminates the need to constantly reel in rigs to re-bait them.

The best way to fish a Roscoe Jig is with a big spinning reel or revolving-spool reel paired with a rod that has lots of backbone.
