Cape Fear Wildlife Expo makes Fayetteville debut

Dozens of outdoor exhibitors will be on hand

The ninth annual Cape Fear Wildlife Expo has a new home this year, with the show moving from Wilmington to Fayetteville’s Crown Complex Arena for this weekend’s March 17-19 dates.

Hours for the show will be 9 a.m.-7 p.m. on March 17 and 18, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on March 19.

Dozens of exhibitors will display various products of interest to outdoorsmen throughout the Expo, which will also feature 704 Outdoors television, the Cape Fear Raptor Center, artist Allen Montague, fly-fishing demonstrations by Chris Tryon, Gene McIntyre’s antique tackle collection and the Virtually Hooked sport fishing simulator.

Admission is $11, with discounts for seniors (60+), members of the military and law-enforcement officers. Kids aged 10 and under are free.
