Well to begin the day walking to my stand a buck jumped and snorted at me before he made his quick departure. I thought that would be all the deer that I would see for the day. Then 30 minutes later looking out of the stand, I saw the other one. It looked kind of small at first. I put the .270 up and sighted him in and shot. The shot hit him and he dropped where he was standing. Waited a few minutes before I exited the stand. When I made my way over to him I was elated, he was a lot broader than I had originally thought and his coat was darker than normal. It ended up being 200lbs with a 18in inside and 20 in outer spread.
