Eli Tucker and his father (Travis Tucker) had been hunting hard every chance they got since the beginning of the 2023 season.
Their target buck finally daylighted on Halloween while Eli was trick-or-treating. So they knew they had to get on him quick, for the buck’s pattern may change due to upcoming rut. On Nov. 2, we got in the ground blind at 5. The buck showed up a few minutes before 6:30 and Eli placed a perfect double lung shot. The deer expired quickly.
