Dane is 20 years old and has been hunting his whole life. His dad was also a hunter but tragically passed away when Dane was 10 years old. Dane continued to hunt with his step-dad and his brothers and kept the tradition going. Killing this buck was so special for him because it was the first time he had killed one doing all the work himself.
At the beginning of the season he spotted this deer on camera and was beyond excited. It didnt take too many hunts before he shot the deer in the evening with a crossbow, and when he told me the story he said before he even found the deer he dropped to his knees and thanked God for this deer. He is truly a remarkable kid. I know he will keep making us all proud, and his Dad is always watching over him.
