8-year-old Mason Wilkerson from Tarboro, NC killed this big Johnston County 9-point buck while blackpowder hunting with his dad on family land in Johnston County on Oct. 1, 2023. Had multiple trail pictures of him during the day and night. He missed a smaller buck on youth day and was determined he would not miss again. The buck came out at 100 yards and Mason dropped him in his tracks. We were able to get it on video, making it even more memorable.
