Enter your buck in this year’s contest
The 2024 CarolinaSportsman.com Bag-A-Buck Contest begins this month! Two of South Carolina’s Game Zones open on Aug. 15 (Zone 3 opens for any weapon, and Zone 4 opens for archery only). Youth Day is even sooner, on Aug. 10 in those two Game Zones. So we’ll begin accepting Bag-A-Buck submissions then.
We will give away a total of six prizes for this year’s Bag-A-Buck. We will have monthly winners from August, September, October, November and December, and we will have an overall Grand Prize winner chosen by a field of outdoor experts at the end of the season.
Our monthly prizes will consist of a free 1-year subscription to Carolina Sportsman Magazine, a Sportsman hat, and some other prizes yet to be determined.
The Grand Prize winner will receive a 2-day, two-person hunt at Cherokee Run Hunting Lodge, a 1-year subscription to Carolina Sportsman Magazine, a Sportsman hat, and various other prizes yet to be determined.
As always, it’s not the biggest buck that necessarily wins any of our prizes. What our panel of judges likes to see is the story behind each hunt, along with a good photo of the hunter with the deer. What is it that made your hunt memorable or unique? That’s what we’d like to know.
