Emma Morris’ buck was in full velvet
Emma Morris killed a full-velvet, 9-point buck in Florence County, SC in the early part of South Carolina’s 2026 deer hunting season. The velvet isn’t even what made this buck such a unique trophy. The rack had some crazy twists and turns, perhaps most notably in the brow tines. The velvet was just beginning to peel from the tip of the buck’s left antler, exposing some blood and adding to the unique look. The deer weighed 195 pounds.
