Tyler Corbin of Darlington, SC killed a 9-point buck in Darlington County, SC on Oct. 31, 2026.
He shot the buck with a Savage 270 rifle during a morning hunt while sitting in an elevated stand from 100 yards away.
Corbin summed up the hunt with these words:
“We first saw this deer on camera in mid-September 2026. We have been watching him come to the corn pile on camera in the early mornings or late nights and thought we would never catch him in daylight. The last couple of days we watched the cameras as he traveled back and forth to our two locations that we hunt, and this morning a little after 7 a.m. he stepped out in the corn pile.”
Corbin is now entered in our Bag-A-Buck Contest, and is eligible to win our monthly prize pack, which includes a set of Ultimate Eyes & Ears Combo from ShellShock Pro, a YETI Rambler bottle, a prize package from Buck Commander and Duck Commander, and a Carolina Sportsman hat, as well as our Grand Prize, a 2-day hunt for two to Cherokee Run Hunting Lodge in Chesterfield County, SC.
