NCWRC, Ducks Unlimited offering free waterfowl seminars this month

The NCWRC and Ducks Unlimited are offering three free waterfowl hunting seminars this month.

Nov. 15, 16, 17 are dates of seminars

The NCWRC is teaming up with Ducks Unlimited to offer three free seminars for waterfowl hunters. The seminars will be held on Nov. 15, 16, and 17. New hunters and experienced hunters will both benefit from these seminars, which run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The seminars will cover basic waterfowl identification, methods of waterfowl hunting, calling, decoys, selection of guns and ammo, hunting clothing, cleaning harvested birds, and cooking.

These seminars are part of the NCWRC’s hunter R3 programs (recruitment, retention, and reactivation), and a brief overview will be given at the conclusion of each seminar.

Nov. 15. Onslow County Extension Center, Onslow County
