Pick the right calls, rattling horns

Rattling with shed horns can produce life-like sparring and fighting noises.

Deer calls on the market today produce a variety of sounds. Look for ones with adjustable reeds that are loud and capable of making many sounds. Gravity activated can calls mimic a doe bleat, and while the volume is somewhat low, they will definitely work, especially when used in conjunction with grunts or rattling.

Rattling antlers are also available from deer themselves, or in the form of synthetic antlers or rattle bags. All of them work, find one that works for you. Volume is critical when rattling, you want something heavy enough and big enough to generate some sound while at the same time being able to tickle and gently spar with the antlers.
