Khloe Ann Suggs’ first bear

I took my 10-year-old granddaughter, Khloe Ann Suggs, Down East (Carteret County) to bear hunt with dogs on my brother’s club this past week. Khloe was able to take this nice 300-pound bear on Dec. 6, 2022.

She was using her Great Uncle’s 20-gauge slug gun. She is an avid hunter who has been in the woods ever since she was born. She is pictured with her Great Uncle Ken Lohr of Harkers Island NC.
