A day in the life of an N.C. Wildlife Officer
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a game warden in North Carolina? This video was taken during the weekend of July 4, 2019. N.C. Wildlife patrols lakes across North Carolina a little more heavily on holiday weekends. This is a good look back, and a good look forward to this coming weekend.
Before you hit the water this weekend, make sure you’ve got all your necessary gear and paperwork onboard. Wildlife officers are out there to make sure everyone is playing by the rules and doing so in a safe manner. They’re not out to spoil your fun — they’re there to make sure everyone is complying with the law and to offer assistance when needed.
