Tuna and wahoo offshore, bull redfish inshore

Multiple species are biting off Carolina coast

Anglers fishing off the Carolina coastlines are catching numerous species of fish. Trolling is one of the preferred offshore methods right now, and those anglers are catching plenty of wahoo and tuna. Inshore anglers are catching about everything that swims, including bull redfish. Anglers using Carolina rigs with quartered blue crabs on the bottom are hanging their share of these big fish.

If you’re not able to get out on the water, you’ll get the next best thing by watching this video. Capt. Ben Powers, Ethan Levine, and Ryan Serio do a great job of putting the viewer on the boat, baiting hooks, setting hooks, fighting, gaffing, and landing fish.
