NATURAL wins Fabulous Fisherman’s Prize

Day 2 was a big one for the 2021 Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament. A total of 159 boats (out of 270) fished on Day 2, releasing 12 blue marlins, four white marlins, and one sailfish. NATURAL won $828,750 for their 521.6-pound blue marlin, which earned them the Fabulous Fisherman’s Prize.

SWEET CAROLINE won the daily dolphin prize with a 24.3-pound mahi. The fish netted $2000 for the crew. DROPPED CALL’s 19.5-pound dolphin put $1000 in their coffers. The first wahoo of the week hit the scales, earning $2000 for CATHERINE GRACE, which put an 11.5-pounder on the meat hook.

DEVELOPIN HABITS finished Day 2 with 400 release points, followed by SEAWEEZ and STREAM WEAVER, both of which also tallied 400 points on the day. Numerous other boats put 400 release points on the board, but the top three boats were decided by time.

OUTLIER still leads the overall release category with 650 points, all collected on Day 1. STARFLITE is in second with 525 points, followed by BANKWALKER, also with 525 points.
