CCA SC STAR has ended, boat winner will be drawn

STAR

The tournament is done, but you can still win

The 2020 CCA South Carolina STAR Tournament ended on Oct. 4. It was a record-setting year for the tournament, a yearly contest that lasts all summer. Several tagged fish were caught, but unfortunately for the anglers that caught them, they were not registered for the STAR.

But for those who did sign up for it, you can still win the $43,000 Sea Hunt BX22 BR bay boat. Since no registered angler captured a tagged redfish, CCA South Carolina will hold a drawing this fall. Everyone who registered is automatically entered.

Almost 600 anglers signed up for this year’s STAR, a record number for this tournament. A record number of tagged redfish were also recaptured (from unregistered anglers).

CCA South Carolina would like to thank all participants, and the following sponsors who continue to help make this tournament a success:

  • Sea Hunt Boat Company
  • Yamaha Outboards
  • Wesco Trailers
  • Academy Sports + Outdoors
  • Shimano North America Fishing
  • Engel Coolers
  • Plano Fishing
  • Local Boy Outfitters
  • Carolina Sportsman

Follow CCA South Carolina’s Facebook page for more information, and to see if you win that boat. They’ll stream the drawing in the coming weeks.
