Catch a redfish, win a Sea Hunt boat!

CCA SC is tagging 60 redfish for the 2019 STAR Tournament.

CCA SC holding third STAR tournament this summer

For the third consecutive year, CCA South Carolina is tagging redfish and giving away two Sea Hunt boats to the first two registered anglers who catch one of the tagged fish between Memorial Day and Labor Day 2019.

CCA SC will tag 60 redfish between now and the last week of May. This year’s tags are purple, and say “CCA STAR 2019” followed by the tag number. They also include the phone number to call in order to claim your prize. So look closely at every redfish you catch this summer!

But first, make sure to register for the tournament. At least one angler that we know of caught a tagged redfish during the correct time frame last summer, but was not registered. So unfortunately he did not win a boat. Don’t let that happen to you!

The two boats are Sea Hunt BX 22 bay boats with Yamaha outboard motors and Wesco trailers. The packages are valued at over $40,000 each. No matter how little you think you’ll fish inshore this summer, it’s worth signing up for. The angler who missed out last year was on a trip from out-of-state, so you don’t have to fish all summer just to luck up and catch one tagged fish.

The tournament dates run from May 27 – Sept. 2. Click here to register.
