My mother, Susan Schambach, caught her first flounder at the youthful age of 70 thanks to her husband, G-Ray Schambach, acting as her guide. The 22 inch, 4 Lb 12 oz. flounder was caught off a dock near Masonboro Island in Wilmington, NC on September 26; hours after she purchased her senior lifetime fishing license! A white 3” Gulp! shrimp with traditional tackle was used to bring him in.
