Angler creates Lake Tillery blog

Robert Patterson has included a fishing-related blog to his website about living on Lake Tillery.

Fisherman Robert Patterson, who has a lakeside home on Lake Tillery, has incorporated a blog on the lake on his website.

The blog enables fishermen to share their fishing experiences and techniques and to relate their lake-living lifestyles.

The blog has three categories to group responses: lake life, boating, and fishing.

Samples related to each category are provided to guide commentary.

One feature of the blog is weekly Lake Tillery fishing reports by local fishermen, relating baits and techniques that worked for them.

Jim Blair will cover crappie and striped bass fishing; Larry Courtney and Keith Byrd will treat crappie fishing; and David Crump will discuss largemouth bass fishing.

The posting of a Lake Tillery map may also be on the agenda.

“The other parts of the blog will highlight events on Tillery like concerts, poker runs, ski and wake board tournaments,” said Patterson. “We hope to help people connect to all that Lake Tillery can offer and to enjoy year-round fun on the lake.”
