Kinley Lambert of NC killed a 13-point buck in Stanly County, NC on Sept. 26, 2026.
She shot the buck with a .243 Rifle during an afternoon hunt while sitting on the ground from 25 yards away.
Lambert’s mom summed up the hunt with these words:
“14-year-old Kinley got her very first deer, an incredible 13-point palmated buck, while hunting in Stanly County with her boyfriend, Wyatt. The duo spotted the unique buck moving through the woods and Kinley was able to quickly get into position. She made a clean, perfect shot using a .243 rifle. It was an unforgettable milestone and an amazing trophy for her first ever deer!”
