Chase the tide for better results

With his song in mind, the perfect tide sequence for fishing is occurring somewhere as well — every day.

The tide is always falling or rising at any given time along the Carolinas coastlines, but at different locations.

Certainly it’s true anglers can’t always find the perfect fishing tide every day, but they still can adjust to the tides and move their setups appropriately. That usually will depend upon their location and the species of fish they’re chasing that day.

Some fish tend to bite better near the final stages of a rising tide. Others put on the feed bag during the final stages of a falling tide.
