Jacob Morris’ Clarendon County gobblers

Jacob Morris

Jacob Morris, 13-years-old, has had a highly successful season of hunting turkeys so far during SC’s 2023 season. The young hunter called in his first turkey while hunting on his own in early April. Then, on April 13, his papa tagged along with him. Once again, Morris called a gobbler in and shot it.

His first gobbler had a 9 1/2-inch beard and 1-inch spurs. His second one sported a 10-inch beard and 1 1/8-inch spurs.
