6-year-old kills 21-pound gobbler

 

Gatlin Poland killed the gobbler in Orangeburg County

While participating in an NWTF hunt during South Carolina’s turkey hunting Youth Weekend, 6-year-old Gatlin Poland killed a prized gobbler.

Poland’s turkey weighed 21 pounds, sported a 10-inch beard, and had 1 3/8-inch spurs. The young hunter shot the bird in Orangeburg County with a Stevens 301 .410 using TSS shot.
