Stone, Bryan and Candace (mom not pictured) went turkey hunting March 25, 2023 hoping for Stone’s first turkey. Stone had attempted the previous season to bag a turkey but was unsuccessful. He had worked on his turkey calls and his shooting so this year he wouldn’t miss.
A wonderful friend had sent to us to the perfect spot that morning in Dillon County, SC. Two Toms came into the field, hens flew in about 10 minutes after the Toms. We knew it would be a challenge to get these Toms with the hens.
Within 15 minutes of work and calling, the Toms finally took interest and came our way. Stone was able to bag one alongside his father for his first turkey.
