Young hunt’s gobbler had 10.5-inch beard
10 year old Knox Penny harvested another great bird in his young hunting career.
He enjoyed the partial eclipse for a bit, and then provided a total eclipse to this Gobbler. 🙂
His funky chicken decoy (and Dad’s trough call) brought 3 Toms away from their hens — then he did the rest with his Remington 20 gauge, and a 3” Meateater load.
10 1/2 inch beard and 1 inch spurs.
