My husband and I (Kaitlyn Neely) had been on four consecutive hunts over the weekend and could never get a gobbler close enough to us to shoot. On Sunday March 27, 2022 my husband called in two hens and about 10 minutes later here he came running into our decoys and I shot him at about 25 yards. He weighed 19.6-pounds, 10.5-inch beard with 1-inch spurs.
