Chris Heffinger killed a triple-bearded gobbler on April 20, 2024 in Caswell County, NC. This trophy bird was his first triple-bearded turkey. The longest beard measured 10 1/2 inches long, the second was 8 inches long, and the third was 7 1/2 inches long. The bird weighed 22.4 pounds, and had spurs of 1 1/2 inches and 1 3/8 inches.
