Northampton County gobbler weighed 20 pounds
Nine-year-old Aubrey Pate killed this turkey on the opening day of North Carolina’s youth season while hunting with her father and grandpa in Northampton County, NC. The big gobbler weighed 20.2 pounds, had 1-inch long spurs, and sported a 12-inch beard. This was the second year in a row that this young hunter has killed a longbeard on Opening Day
