Jay Carrick’s last youth day hunt. In the past, Youth Day hasn’t been good — rain, bad weather, wind etc. But on this Youth Day, deer were moving good early. Jay got a good shot on a 3.5-year-old 9-pointer with a dark rack. Deer weighed 175 pounds. Mayo River; Mayodan, NC.
