The morning that I hunted this deer I was actually hunting for another deer because I never expected this deer to come back. He never showed up on camera. So this deer walked out and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. But, the deer that I came in there to hunt was about 20 yards behind of him so basically I had two of my shooter bucks in front of my stand at the same time. I chose to shoot the first buck that came out. I shot this deer with a crossbow. His nickname is (curly) as you can tell from his brow tines. I have had this deer on camera for 2 or 3 years now and we have always been able to identify him very easily from his brow tines. This was one of the most memorable hunts I have ever experienced and it was very exciting!
