I had this deer on camera at several different stands and I knew he was tall and a really nice deer. Muzzle loader season come in and that morning we walked out at 20 yards and I let him walk due to having bigger deer on camera. I had seen him about a week before I shot him running down one of the farm roads and I thought dang he’s a lot bigger than I thought. Well I get home from work go grab my rifle knowing I only had about 45 minutes of daylight and jumped in the barn and here he come out not even ten minutes after I got in with another basket rack 8 and 3 other does. And I waited for him to get broad side bout 80 yards away and put the crosshairs on him and squeezed one off with my Browning Abolt chambered in 270 Winchester and he hit the ground dead as a hammer.
