Toby pulled it off again. Toby wanted to try and hunt yesterday so after we took care of something we went. Got in a little late but it didn’t matter. I wasn’t sure if we would see anything there was a logging crew working in the woods right around us but he said dad we got to try. Just about time the crew quiet and Toby decided to hit his grunt call and not even 5 minutes a die comes out with a stud right behind her. I knew it was a good one but didn’t get much time to look as he was steady walking. Toby got in him I asked if he wanted me to try and stop him but before I could finish the statement boom… lol deer ran 30 yards went down then got back up walked 10 yards and took a dirt nap. He smoked a stud of a deer with his 300 blackout and has now tagged out of bucks and taken 2 really good bucks! Super proud dad and super proud of him!
