My dad saw him first coming through the woods. He was headed to the corn pile. I picked up my crossbox to get ready. He was 30 yards away from our ground blind. When I looked through the scope it was one of our target bucks, the 12 pointer. When he picked his head up, I shot him. We saw the arrow hit. We let him be while we went to the truck to get flashlights. When we came back we found the arrow covered in blood. We started tracking him with a heavy blood trail. He ran approximately 200 yards towards the swamp, but he did not make it. We found him!
