Dennis Paschal shot this deer in Rockingham County with his muzzleloader while stalking around a cutover in a stiff breeze. The buck jumped up from his bed in the edge of the cutover about 10 feet in front of me. Evidently he couldn’t tell what I was, he ran about 40 yards and stopped to look back.
