My name is James Farris. This was 1 of 2 target bucks I had been watching since the season started. He along with several small bucks came in after a short rain shower on the evening of October 7. After spooking themselves out of my bait pile about 3 times this buck finally settled down and gave me the shot I needed. The shot was 35yds, perfect for my mission crossbow, he only went about 60yds and piled up. I am a cancer patient and have just went back on chemo so my hunting days are limited and I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity to harvest this buck!
