Haven’t been able to do much hunting due to running my own business but decided to go with a friend this afternoon and luck was on my side. The 26 inch wide monster Orange County Buck came cruising along 30 yards behind my ladder stand. I stood up and turned around in my stand, put my sights on him and pulled the trigger. The near perfect shot from my .308 Winchester Model 70 dropped him in his tracks. I never had the deer on camera but quickly realized how many others were after him after posting some pictures up.
