Youth hunter’s first buck dropped immediately

Olivia Yon of Charleston, SC killed her first buck on Sept. 1, 2024 during an evening hunt from an elevated stand. She killed the 8-point buck in Barnwell County with an 85-yard shot from a Ruger .243.

The buck fell on the spot. Yon, 12-years-old, had never seen the buck, which was in full velvet, before that hunt.
