This deer was on camera all season but only in the middle of the night. The evening of Oct. 25, 2022 the moon was perfect and no wind so I decided to hunt. They were active, and eight does and a 6-point were in the shooting lane when they stopped and looked at the swamp, and this deer walked out. Obstructions to a shot made me wait 10 minutes before I shot. It’s a 10-pointer with a 23 1/4-inch outside spread. Over 7 1/2-years-old. The processor showed me where he had been nicked in the gut a few weeks earlier. (See spot on photo) Lucky for me, the other hunter must have been shaking too much to get a good shot!
