Yadkin County has always been good to me.
In East Bend, N.C., me and this buck got a little history. He kind of disappeared last year but came back this year with force. I have plenty of trail camera photos of him. He lost the brow about a month before, so I know he’s been rubbing our sparring.
Also had trail cameras of bucks sparring already. And hearing them, I decided to pick up some rattling techniques and the evening of Oct. 15, a cow horn came in first. After rattling about 10 seconds long I noticed a doe appeared in the field.
At 7: 05, he came into the field edge walking in about 10 yards, which puts him at about 40 yards from me. He turned around to go right back into the trail. And as he stopped I let the center point fly.. him measuring 20 1/2 wide a buck of a lifetime for me just want to thank God.
