Lowcountry hunter downs 11-point buck

11-point buck

11-point buck weighed 201 pounds

Leon Allen of Fripp Island, SC is usually running TightLinez Bait and Tackle on Harbor Island. But he took a break to go deer hunting on Oct. 8, 2022 in Beaufort County. He killed a 201-pound, 11-point buck. It was a deer he had seen before, but did not have any trail camera photos of.

Allen shot the big buck at 70 yards in an open pasture with his Remington .30-06. The deer dropped on the spot, so no tracking was required.
