After watching this buck and others on trail cams we knew they weren’t bedding far away so we knew we had to be in the stand early. We saw two bucks at a distance, and then around 6:30 pm several does and a small buck hung around the corn pile for a bit. A few minutes after they left this wide buck walked out and Larkin made the shot with his 6.5 Creedmoor. This is a great buck for a 9 year old not to mention he had to tough it out in a box stand for 3 and a half hours in 82 degrees to have a shot at him!
