The spot I hunted was not known for having anything special, Landon has always ran a non-cellular SD trail camera and kept up with it knowing one day it would produce. I pulled the SD card on Wednesday and yesterday morning Landon went through the pictures and showed me this guy. I decided to give it a shot, knowing I was going to have to hunt from the ground as we didn’t have a stand here. I got in early and made myself a blind from a fallen tree and limbs I broke off from live trees. Around 6:30p I saw a rack coming through the woods, he came in without hesitation and at 20 yards I drew back and let it fly. A chest shot to the heart, he expired quickly and I couldn’t be more thankful for that. My biggest buck & from the ground with a bow, I’m over the moon and still in disbelief.
