Jordan Alexander, 11-years-old from Clay Hill, SC, killed an 8-point buck in Hampton County on the morning of Aug. 10, 2024. This was South Carolina’s first Youth Day of the 2024 deer hunting season.

The young hunter shot the buck with a .243 from 100 yards away while hunting from an elevated stand.

Alexander was familiar with the buck before the hunt from seeing it on trail camera videos.
