Jakob West’s 10-point buck

Nov. 4, 2020 started off with me getting right to my land at 6 a.m. I had to hurry off to the food plot, got to the deer blind and wind had pushed it over. I spent 10 minutes flipping it around and back into position. 5-10 minutes go by after that, and this deer steps out. It got me excited because it was the first actual buck I’ve seen in daylight since hunting.

So I pulled the bow back and let an arrow fly! Got lucky with my first deer harvest being 10 points and after hunting all season long, it was pretty wild only having a 30-minute sit while some mornings and afternoons I would sit for hours and not see anything. Thankful for this opportunity I was given.
