My name is Price Hedrick, and I shot this Buck that goes by the “Lucky 7” in Iredell County, NC. I got into the stand around 5:00pm on 9/14/25. It was opening weekend of archery season. The Buck I harvest walked out with his running mate around 7:25. He got within 10 yards from my stand that’s on a ridge. I am still very surprised he didn’t catch my wind. I let him get out to 20 yards and let an arrow rip. Entered and clipped the heart, and when it exited it struck major arteries in the neck. He ran 20 yards and dropped dead.
