Decided to set up in a completely new spot that I have never scouted before after striking out on all of my other spots. I was using my Bear Cruiser X2 with RIP TKO arrows & Sevr 2.0 hybrid heads. I had been hunting this bow only WMA very hard for 5 days straight & was ready to throw in the towel, but sure enough after getting in my tree at 4:30pm in a completely new spot this big dude came cruising by at 6:00pm up wind of me. He came in at 30 yards broadside to me and I let my arrow fly but my arrow deflected off a twig I didn’t see & severed his carotid artery & the flood gates opened up and he went down in 20 yards. A buddy of mine and I had to drag him over 600 yards to get him to the truck & he weighed in right at 141 pounds.
